I highly recommend Richard who not only is a lovely chap but is also extremely good at listening to and executing requests. He quoted very reasonably for a new driveway frontage for our house and produced exactly what we wanted, within budget, worked efficiently and tidily and finished the project to a very high standard. We additionally liked his refreshing “green” attitude to recycling reusable materials, either within the project itself or offering them up for others to make use of. We now have what is described by agents as “great curb appeal” – you are welcome to view his excellent work at 132 George V Avenue.
I employed Richard Cook to lay a base for my garden shed and erection of the shed, Richard did a very good solid base with ease and a quality job was done. He was a very helpful person who could answer any concern or query I had with a very competitive price. I will be re-employing him in the near future to re-decorate my house and at some time put a loggia on the side of my property.
Richard has undertaken many jobs for me over the years, including redesigning and fitting a bathroom, painting, carpentry, making over the garden, etc. His work was of an exceptionally high standard, he is very polite and always cleaned up afterwards. I would recommend him.
I was telling a friend of mine on the train about how i have had 3 ridiculous quotes from builders for an extension. She recommended i give Richard a call, best thing i did. He was round the next evening, very knowledgable and pleasant. After giving him my design brief he explained how things could be improved and asked questions about things i may have not considered. To top this all, his quote was amazingly realistic and my sloping roof extension has two velux roof lights installed which i simply overlooked at the design stage. So pleased with this brilliant feature. With confidence i was happy to have him back to lay a tricky shaped patio. Very pleased.

Richard did a great job refitting my kitchen and completing related building work and tiling, plastering etc. I was happy to leave him alone in my house getting on with the work and he was extremely friendly and explained what he was doing as the project progressed.
